Vigilance In The Face of “Cowardly” London Attacks, Says Bill McCollum

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Thursday’s morning blasts have resulted in at least thirty-seven casualties and seven hundred injuries. The attack, which police are now calling a “coordinated terrorist attack,” targeted London’s transportation systems during morning rush hour.

Former Congressman Bill McCollum, board member of the American Security Council, issued the following statement:

"These cowardly attacks by Islamic radicals against innocent people in London are another example of why we must stand steadfast in our efforts to stop global terrorism. We as a nation must and will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the good people of Great Britain during this hour. We must also continue to promote democracy and freedom in the Islamic world to ensure that future generations will not have to deal with the terrorist threat we have today."
