ASC Releases 108th Congress Voting Index [1]The American Security Council has released its 108th voting index for the public use. In accordance with the ASC's mission, the 108th Congress voting index tracks 10 national security-related votes within both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.

The role of the American Security Council is to disseminate general information, in a non-partisan manner, in support of the United States of America's foreign policy, national security and international economic agenda.

"We at the ASC are committed to hold our nation's leaders accountable for their voting records, esepecially when related to our national security," said Matt Williams, Executive Director of the American Security Council.

"We urge you, the American public, to track the votes of your elected representatives to ensure that your voice is being heard and your safety is being secured. We will continue to do our part to bring this important national security-related legislation to the fore-front of our national concern. Only through the 'Peace Through Strength' docterine exemplified by these 20 votes, can our nation secure its future in a troubling global landscape."
